Generally in any lease the serviceability of the equipment is the clients responsibility and if the equipment fails during the term of the lease for any reason then the client is responsible for all repair or service outside of initial warranty. From the lessee perspective this causes the lessee expense to maintain the equipment in seviceable condition as is a condition of any lease and in the case of IT possible major problems if the equipment fails as the lessee must still continue to pay for equipment even if it no longer works. This is as true for IT equipment as it is for motor vehicles.
